Litigation, Arbitration, Mediation and Dispute Resolution
At Firestone, Brehm, Wolf & Whitney LLP, we litigate to win. In most cases, the best way to do that is to plan for a trial from the beginning and prepare accordingly.
Because we are tied to the community of Delaware County, we are an excellent option for litigation. When a client must be represented in a Delaware County court for a legal matter, we are a cost-effective option due to our proximity to the court and low overhead compared to larger firms in Franklin County. And, we have established good reputations with our courts and other local attorneys.
Sometimes you are faced with a dispute but for personal or reputational reasons neither you nor the other party desires to litigate in the eye of the public in a state or federal court. In such cases, private arbitration, mediation, or another form of alternative dispute resolution is more appropriate. We can help you resolve your dispute while keeping it private.
We do not want our clients to be surprised by an outrageous legal bill. In order to prevent that from happening, we will, upon request, provide you an estimate of the cost to litigate your case and the likely timing of when you will be charged for certain aspects of the litigation. In some circumstances, we may be willing to consider flat fee or contingency fee billing agreements to help you have more certainty regarding litigation costs.
