Local Government Law

Since 1998, David Brehm in his capacity as Village Solicitor has represented the Village of Sunbury on all matters from village council business, drafting municipal ordinances, prosecuting municipal offenses in Mayor's court, assisting the village with real estate matters including acquisitions of property, enforcement of its zoning regulations, employment relations and many other matters.

Another of our attorneys, D. J. Young, has represented a metropolitan parks board on general business matters, personnel matters, litigated matters, and real estate acquisitions. And, having served as an elected member of the Perkins School Board in Erie County, he has important knowledge and experience about governance of a small school district.

And, all of our attorneys have practiced law before a multitude of different local government agencies regarding all types of matters regulated by them.
